3-Night Meru National Park Safari
Meru National Park is a remote, 870 sq km, unspoiled wilderness in eastern Kenya known for its lush scenery, 13 flowing rivers, and rich history as the home of Joy Adamson’s Born Free. Featuring diverse habitats from swamps to woodlands, it offers excellent Big Five viewing — including a protected rhino sanctuary — along with Grevy’s zebra and over 427 bird species.
Here’s a great 3-night Meru National Park safari itinerary based on staying at iKWETA Safari Camp (just outside the Murera Gate of Meru National Park in eastern Kenya). Meru is one of Kenya’s most pristine game parks — scenic, uncrowded, and rich in wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, and hundreds of bird species.
